An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist who is looking to achieve a better work life balance with a hybrid working role.


Clinical Psychologist – Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the delivery of psychological assessment and treatment to

patients’ admitted to the service.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues from Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Social Work to provide high quality care and treatment.
  • Lead in assessments and formulation to help determine the treatment needs of individual service users.
  • Undertake research relevant to the assessment of patients’ needs and the development and evaluation of interventions.  
  • Assist HR with staff wellbeing.

Support the induction process for new members of staff, informing them about patient’s history and care plan.

Clinical Psychologist – Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working in secure environments and with complex challenging behaviours.
  • Able to assess and formulate recovery focused pathways.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of positive behaviour support, positive risk management and active support models and strategies.
