Domus are looking for a Deputy Manager located in Radstock, Somerset to lead a dedicated staff team within a residential service for younger adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Reporting into the Registered Manager, your team will support residents in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives.
We’re looking for someone with proven leadership skills and hands-on experience within the Health and Social Care sector, ideally experienced supporting younger adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Registered Manager responsibilities:
- Ensure the team provides safe, sound & supportive care to the people they support.
- Be a role model to your team & provide effective leadership & management.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities & regulatory bodies to deliver a high-quality service & promote a positive culture.
- Meet quality targets to ensure the service is providing the best support & care possible.
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Commitment to delivering high quality care
- Previous deputy managerial experience in a similar environment
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards
- Fine tuned decision making skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude
