I am recruiting for an Operations Manager for one small family ran care home in Gloucester.
This is a part time role – 3 days a week.
Accepting Registered Managers looking to take a step up.
Key Responsibilities of an Operations Manager:
- Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the home.
- Ensure that the home is run in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, community, and wellness within each home, promoting these values in all aspects of care and support.
- Work closely with home management team to develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of each home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Both operationally and financially.
- Play a key role in creating a supportive and inclusive working environment for all staff, promoting the values of the company and working to improve the working culture of the care home sector.
- Develop and manage budgets for the home, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure that each home is well-maintained and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Operations Manager Requirements:
- Previous successful home management and supervisory experience.
- Previous experience working within a social care environment.
- Experience within Area, Regional or Multisite Management.
- Knowledge of CQC, increasing occupancy, reducing agency.
