I am seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee, monitor and support adherence to the Quality Assurance policy, and all regulatory standards for a family ran group of 6 care homes across Somerset and Devon


Key Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Monitor and support adherence to the Quality Assurance policy and all regulatory standards
  • Monitor Home and Portfolio Key Performance Indicators, where related to compliance and suggest solutions – in conjunction with Home Managers & Area Managers 
  • The SQM will consider thematic issues across the group, which may be new or bring potential benefit
  • As a member of Group, the QM should train new working methods and not become indispensable to the safe day-to-day running of any service. The focus of the QM is to upskill home ops teams and the wider staffing base
  • Ensure careful oversight of projects to which they are assigned
  • Be a role-model to junior staff on ways-of-working as laid out by the company
  • Use their approval authorities appropriately, honestly and in-line with the interests and policies of the firm
  • Have a clear understanding of which issues are within their mandate and which issues are to be escalated


Quality Assurance Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Quality & Compliance roles or management of a care home
  • Previous CQC inspection experience
