Registered Area Manager (Supported Living)

Domus are currently working with a fantastic national charity to recruit for a Registered Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of their residential and supported living services in Warwickshire & Worcestershire.

Based out of the office in Bidford-on-Avon, travel will be between services in Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Evesham and Moreton-in-Marsh.

The charity are one of the market leaders nationwide, providing support for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

They are looking for a confident, dynamic manager who is able to manage a team of Managers across multiple sites.

They are paying £48,500 per annum for the successful candidate. (**Please note, this Area Manager position will require registration with CQC.**)

Key Responsibilities of a Regional Manager:

  • Supporting the Divisional Director and Senior Regional Manager in the day-to-day management and development of services in the portfolio.
  • Line management of Cluster Managers within the region.
  • Manage and develop a high performing portfolio of services where staff receive consistent training.
  • Ensure positive and effective communication across the Region and maintain a close working relationship with the senior leadership team.

Regional Manager Requirements:

  • Driving licence is essential due to the multi-site nature of the role.
  • Qualified to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Up to date experience of the learning disability sector.
  • Experience of negotiating and building relationships with local authorities, CQC and other external agencies.
  • Proven track record of managing significant budgets in a tight financial climate.
  • Excellent people management, leadership and communication skills.
