Domus are on the lookout for a Supported Living Service Manager in Dunstable to take the reins of a brand new development for adults with Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities.

The Supported Living will be integral to the quality & development of the services as well as leading, developing and inspiring their own staff teams to be the best they can be.

Key Responsibilities of a Supported Living Service Manager:

  • Line management and supervision of support & senior support staff.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of a number of supported living services.
  • Leading and promoting high quality outcome focused support.
  • Quality Assurance and themed audits
  • Liaising with other people and professionals involved in the support
  • Providing on call support and assistance when required.

Key requirements a Supported Living Manager must have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience supporting adults who have experienced Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health needs
  • Management of support workers and other team members, including coaching and training to ensure outstanding person-centred and non-restrictive support.
  • Carrying out regular audits of the service, in turn adhering to and regularly reviewing any actions in line with company policy
  • Understanding and adhering to local procedures and practice to ensure that service users are safeguarded against the risk of abuse, and accordingly report and take action against any concerns raised.
