I am working with a fantastic care provider who are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager in Cheshunt. Our client is committed to providing the highest possible standards of care for residents with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health.
As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations. You will provide effective leadership and management to a well-established team focusing on enhancing life and social skills for independent living, assisting my clients service users to pursue their goals and interests, and to encourage social inclusion and activities.
The organisation is rated ‘Good’ with CQC and goes above and beyond for those they support and the managers within the organisation to ensure they best possible outcomes for all involved – don’t miss this opportunity!
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
- To maintain a high quality CQC, service (currently rated as Good).
- To manage the Care Co-ordination Team and the Support Workers.
- To ensure that a high-quality home care service is provided which meets the needs of the supported individuals and maintains their privacy, dignity and independence.
- To oversee the co-ordination of care workers across all areas covered by the
Organisation.
- To ensure that consistency is maintained within the service.
- To be fully aware of all the Organisation’s policies and procedures and ensure that these are always adhered to.
Registered Manager Requirements:
- Knowledge of Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
- A minimum of three years’ experience of working in a relevant social care environment.
- Knowledge of the process of assessment and care management.
- Experience of managing a dispersed staff team.
- Excellent computer skills (using MS Office programs, particularly Word and Outlook).
