What’s on offer:
- £40,000-£55,000 salary package.
- 33 days’ annual leave (25 days + bank holidays).
- 40p/mile mileage allowance.
- Bonus scheme.
Key Responsibilities of a Workforce Development Lead :
- Reviewing existing training content to prepare it for commercial use ensuring quality and alignment with sector needs.
- Securing CPD accreditation for training programmes to enhance credibility and marketability.
- Leading the organisation’s workforce development strategy across all homecare services.
- Designing and reviewing training programmes tailored specifically to the homecare sector.
- Ensuring all staff remain fully compliant with sector standards and CQC requirements.
- Working closely with the Head of Quality and Director of Care to embed best practice, strengthen leadership and management (LMS) capabilities and raise service quality.
- Keeping up to date with changes in homecare regulations, training frameworks and sector strategies and introducing these effectively across the company.
Workforce Development Manager Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Regional or Head of L&D role within the social care sector.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
