Interim Project Manager

Domus Recruitment are working with a leading provider of high quality residential & community care services for older people in Kent & South East London. We are looking for an Interim Project Manager for a period of 4-5 months, 3 days per week to support the delivery of new developments and acquisitions.

You will lead the development and implementation of robust project plans for new acquisitions/developments to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within budget & adhere to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

  • Lead and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact and communication updates on project status and changes.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing resources during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Structure and manage integrated project performance tracking systems.

Requirements:

  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Extensive project management experience in supporting the delivery of new developments/acquisitions
  • Experience of using project management tools, software and resources
  • Stakeholder management experience up to board level
  • Experience of coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets
  • Experience in health or social care environments
  • Sound knowledge of project and change management methodologies
  • Knowledge of the social care sector.
