Business Development Manager

I am currently working with one of our well-established, Residential care providers that is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager who will oversee the referrals, advertising, sales, increasing occupancy, marketing for the company.
As a company they provide high quality of care to individuals within residential homes.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • To be the focal point for all referrals and assessment activity for designated projects and core beds and ensure of their timely follow up.
  • To support managers with assessments and completion of service documentation
  • To ensure new services are handed over to operations in accordance with new service handover agreement documentation.
  • To coordinate all communication with identified Registered Home Managers
  • To support with identifying and proposing realistic new business or services across the region.
  • To assist with the timely compilation of statistics, reports and management information.


Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and engage with individuals at all levels.
  • Has a track record of working in partnership with a range of senior professionals to develop new business opportunities.
  • Will thrive in an externally facing role and who will have the charisma and gravitas to represent our organisation at a strategic level
  • An excellent grasp and understanding of CQC standards and regulations
  • Previous management experience
  • Some care experience will be beneficial
  • A valid driving license and the ability to travel and stay away from home on a frequent basis
