Clinical Lead/ Deputy manager

I am currently looking for an experienced Clinical Manager to register to a luxury 70 bedded Nursing home Based in Worcester. The successful candidate would be responsible for the day to day clinical running of the home and working alongside the registered manager. This is a lovely modern, purpose built service and you would be working for a medium sized, reputable care provider.

Looking for someone with relevant managerial experience, either a deputy or someone who has clinical management experience who has a good track record with CQC and a good show of longevity in previous roles is desirable. You have to be nurse qualified to be considered for this role. The ideal candidate would be a positive, forward-thinking manager, who knows how to motivate and run a team who deliver the highest standard of care possible.

Key Responsibilities of a Home Manager:

Managing work teams and nurses
Enforcing health and safety regulations
• Hiring staff
Assessing patient care systems
• Ordering supplies and equipment for the home
Orientating staff
• Meeting with patient families and friends

Home Manager Requirements:

  • Experience in the management or working as part of the management teams in care homes
  • Clinical knowledge
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a care home.
  • Must have an active NMC Pin (essential)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience of managing and being part of a large, multi-faceted team.
  • You will have sound commercial acumen and understand how to deliver business KPI’s.
  • With excellent people skills, you will be passionate to motivate, lead and influence a loyal team. You will thrive in identifying talent and develop skills and expertise.
  • With your positivity you will be dedicated to ensuring all team members feel appreciated and recognised for the job that they do.
  • You will be a self-starter, someone who enjoys being part of team with a passion for achieving excellent standards of service and care.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
