An excellent care provider is seeking a Head of Operations for their services in the North East and Leeds region for Younger Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs. These services are predominantly residential services as well as some which are supported living.
This provider is a national charity with a great reputation for specialist Residential Care, Supported Living Services, Homeless support services and older people’s services.
This is an exciting opportunity as they are developing specialised autism services to their portfolio, across the Teesside and Middlesbrough areas.
Salary £56,000+ negotiable depending on experience
Requirements of Head of Operations:
- A proven track record in leadership and management within social care management
- Experience in achieving outcomes and transforming service delivery
- The ability to design, develop and implement new services for people with complex needs
- The ability to support new service design concepts when developing new provision
- The ability to cut through problems, recognise potential and reach success
- A proven track record of meeting budgetary performance targets
- Must have been in a registered manager position and have experience of multi-site management for at least five years
Key skills and Competencies:
- Strong care background within a multi-site role, leadership skills and professionalism
- They will lead and manage the services in their region so that they are able to offer services designed around people and their aspirations, wishes and needs.
- Ability to lead projects from concept to completion. A large part of this role is the development of new autism specialist services from design to implementation. They will ensure that these services surpass contractual and regulatory
requirements, encompassing the charity’s values and ethos.
- They will work in close cooperation with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer to ensure the smooth operational and financial running of services
- Demonstrating our values in leadership and practice are fundamental to this role.
- In in depth and up to date knowledge of service provision and the relevant standards care/support needs of relevant groups, including Autism
