Quality Assurance Manager

Due to exciting growth plans an independent homecare company in Wellington, Somerset is recruiting for a new Quality Assurance Manager opportunity.

The service has recently acquired key contracts to provide care to a wide range of client groups including elderly, complex care, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviours. Your role will be to ensure the service remains in-line with CQC regulations as the service grows – also supporting the Care Manager with the day to day running of the service.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Oversee and maintain compliance with CQC regulations and standards across the service.
  • Conduct regular audits, ensuring all areas of the business adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a high-performing and compliant team.
  • Provide guidance and support to care teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive continuous quality enhancement.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational and financial goals are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or similar role within domiciliary care or the wider care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and driving service improvements.
  • Good knowledge of Wellington and the surrounding areas
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
