My client is a leading care provider in the UK, seeking a Registered Extra Care Manager to oversee two services located close to each other in Derby. This role offers an attractive salary of up to £37,000 and is supported by a well-staffed team, with the significant advantage of no on-call responsibilities.
The Role:
- Oversee the operations of two extra care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across both locations.
- Responsible for the efficient delivery of excellent service in care delivery operations while looking to grow the business further.
- Achieve and maintain high-quality service to comply with all legislative requirements from the local authority.
- Take responsibility for minimizing and managing risk, ensuring risk management issues are identified and handled appropriately.
- Play a lead role in investigation procedures concerning employee and care issues, always ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Relevant Experience:
- Achieved a minimum of NVQ level 3.
- Experience within social care.
- Experience in Strategic Planning.
- Worked with CQC.
- Good people skills with the ability to lead a team.
- Proven track record of providing excellent care.
- Ability to grow a service.
- Experience in managing a large team and extensive care hours is desirable but not required.
