Domus are on the lookout for a highly experienced Health and Social Care professional to join a highly reputable provider of care for adults with Learning Disabilities & Mental Health needs as a Registered Manager in Mitcham, Surrey.
You will be responsible for the management of a small residential service that supports adults with Learning Disabilities, ensuring person-centered care is delivered.
We’re keen to speak with current Registered Manager’s or highly experienced Deputies!
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
- Enable the people supported to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential.
- Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career.
- Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality.
- Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled.
- Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, ensuring that the business is run in an efficient and responsible manner.
- Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.
Key requirements a Registered Manager must have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards), or equivalent as required for registration.
- Substantial experience in managing care teams / supervisory or management experience in a care environment.
- Strong people and communication skills with excellent customer service.
- Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets.
