An established 44 bed home with a family-feel and nice supportive environment. Last CQC inspection of good in all areas. The position has come about due to the current Registered Manager retiring, the successful candidate will receive a hand over with current manager, in order to support a smooth transition and further training will be considered on a case by case basis. The home prioritises delivering care that maintains the dignity and individuality of each person, providing both physical and mental stimulation aimed specifically at those living with dementia. The right candidate for the role can expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- To take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and person-centred running of home.
- Lead, motivate and develop a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, dignity and independence for residents.
- Manage budgets, compliance, care planning and safeguarding.
- Work with residents, families, staff and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
- Implement new work processes.
Requirements:
- Experience in a management role in a elderly/dementia care setting for multiple years
- Strong leadership, communication and regulatory knowledge.
- Registration experience
- A passion for person-centred care.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Excellent knowledge of CQC requirements
