Jon Hammond

Jon is a Director at Domus, overseeing the Interim and Permanent recruitment teams across Specialist Residential Services, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Elderly Care. He supports both business development and the delivery of senior appointments across the health and social care sector. 

Jon is passionate about building long-term relationships and helping providers find exceptional leaders who genuinely make a difference. The sectors Domus supports face constant challenges, and Jon takes great pride in connecting organisations with the right people to improve services, outcomes and quality of care. 

Clients, candidates and colleagues can expect honesty, responsiveness and a straightforward approach when working with Jon. He believes in building trust through open communication and doing what he says he will do, aiming to be someone people can rely on for advice, support and constructive challenge when needed. 

Jon particularly enjoys the people-focused nature of recruitment, from helping candidates progress in their careers to supporting clients with business-critical recruitment challenges. He also enjoys developing teams and seeing consultants grow, improve and achieve their goals. 

Jon’s biggest strength is relationship building, with a strong focus on creating genuine, long-term partnerships rather than transactional interactions. He is proud to have helped build and develop successful recruitment teams while establishing Domus as a trusted partner across multiple specialist care sectors. 

Outside of work, Jon is a lifelong Arsenal fan and sports enthusiast. He represented England at rugby and spent time with Harlequins in his younger days, and also lived in Beijing as a child. Today, life outside work revolves around his two young boys, family time, the occasional pint with friends and golf, although his enthusiasm for the game definitely outweighs his ability.
