Matthew Taylor

Matthew is a Senior Consultant at Domus, specialising in management and director level recruitment across specialist adult, children’s and clinical care services in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, the North East and the North West. He also plays an active role internally as the Domus South social coordinator. 

Passionate about working in a sector that truly matters, Matthew takes pride in supporting care services that provide essential support to some of the most vulnerable people in the country. For Matthew, recruitment is about far more than matching CVs to jobs; it is about building relationships, offering advice, finding solutions and supporting both clients and candidates through the highs and lows of the recruitment journey. 

Clients, candidates and colleagues can expect Matthew’s time, commitment and genuine care when working with him. He is known for going the extra mile without being asked, listening carefully to what people need and bringing positivity even when situations are challenging. 

Matthew is particularly proud of the times he has supported care services through crisis, as well as candidates facing difficult job or personal circumstances, helping them turn things around and move forward with confidence. 

Outside of work, Matthew’s one true love is Manchester United. He is a football enthusiast, has recently caught the golf bug and also plays for a local darts team. A keen reader, closet singer-songwriter and guitar player, Matthew has plenty of interests away from recruitment, though he does not plan on releasing anything on SoundCloud any time soon.
